Konya Works on Second Container City in Hatay

Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Konya Commodity Exchange, and the municipalities of Karatay, Meram, and Selçuklu are continuing infrastructure activities for the second container city they will establish in Hatay.

As part of the infrastructure works of the second container city that Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Konya Chamber of Industry, Konya Chamber of Commerce, Konya Commodity Exchange, and central district municipalities are carrying out in Hatay, the water connection was made with the HOT-TAP device without causing any water interruption. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the HOT-TAP device, which allows connection from the transmission line without interrupting water flow, was used for the first time by KOSKI General Directorate among water and sewerage administrations in our country, and added, "Our teams, who work day and night for the best conditions for our citizens who will stay in the container city, are using all the technological devices provided by our institution in Hatay for the rapid and healthy progress of the works."

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they have been working intensively in many areas such as search and rescue, logistics, mobile kitchen, communication, energy supply, and shelter in Hatay since the first moment of the earthquake.
