Mayor Altay: "We take pride in serving our city."

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur Ibrahim Altay inaugurated the cultural center building, established in collaboration with the Metropolitan Municipality, KOP Development Administration, and Ilgın Municipality in the district.

During the opening ceremony, Ilgın Mayor Yalçın Ertaş stated that they have opened the Ilgın Cultural Center, which will further highlight the history, nature, and culture of Ilgın, meeting the social and cultural needs of the district. Ertaş expressed gratitude to Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur Ibrahim Altay and KOP Development Administration President Murat Karakoyunlu for their significant contributions to the construction of the center.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur Ibrahim Altay stated that the cultural center is one of the projects that adds value to Ilgın, both in terms of its physical appearance and infrastructure.

Mayor Altay expressed confidence in making the best for Konya, selecting the best candidates. He stated, "We take great joy and pride in serving our city. We are serving the city of Hazrat Mevlana and Seljuk's Darü'l-Mülk. Ilgın has earned the appreciation of Hazrat Mevlana and Evliya Çelebi with its baths, beautiful people, and quality residents; it is one of our most beautiful districts. Hopefully, we will continue to serve Ilgın in the future. I wish for our unity and togetherness to be everlasting. I thank the KOP Administration and Ilgın Municipality for their support in this matter. I wish our cultural center to be beneficial."
