Selçuk University Leads Turkey in European Packaging Contest

Students from the Industrial Design Department at Selçuk University’s Faculty of Fine Arts ranked first in Turkey with eight finalist projects in the preliminary results of the Pro Carton Young Designers Award 2025, one of Europe’s most prestigious carton packaging design competitions.

In the competition, which features categories such as Creative Carton Packaging and Sustainability, Selçuk University became the university representing Turkey with the highest number of projects.

Professor Dr. Mehmet Lütfi Hidayetoğlu, Head of the Industrial Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts, stated that the competition is organized by the European Carton Makers Association and that the association represents more than 42 carton factories across 14 different European countries and North America.
