The Karatay Municipality held a "SECAP Stakeholder Workshop" as part of the preparations for the Sustainable Energy and Climate Change Action Plan. During the workshop, important topics related to the environment and energy consumption were discussed, and a cooperation agreement was signed with the Central Project Management Agency of Lithuania (CPVA).
The workshop, held at the Aziziye Cultural Center, was attended by Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu, President of the KOP (Konya Plain Project) Regional Development Administration, Daiva Matonėnė, CPVA Turkey Project Team Leader, and academics.

With the signed agreement, the initiative for the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy (CoM) will be further adopted in the region, contributing to the fight against climate change in Turkey and internationally, while supporting the energy transition.
Dr. Murat Karakoyunlu, President of the Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration, stated that the meeting was highly valuable for producing sustainable energy solutions.
