A fish dish from Konya cuisine; Carp fish cooked with chickpeas is delicious as well as practical and beneficial.
1 cup of chickpeas
600 gr carp
5 tablespoons of butter (melted)
Half a dessertspoon of black pepper
Half a dessertspoon of red pepper
3 cups of water
1 dessertspoon of salt
3 tablespoons of lemon juice
Wet the chickpeas in advance, cook in a pressure pot.Cut the fish into large pieces. Chop the onions in half rings. -Fry the onion with oil until it gets pink. Add the fish and fry.Put black pepper, red pepper, boiled chickpeas, water and salt and cook.Add the lemon juice.
