There is a high demand for Angel‘s Hair Dessert prepared in copper trays using traditional methods in Konya during the Ramadan month.
Hakan Güvez, who produces Angel‘s Hair Dessert on a copper tray with traditional methods in Konya, is trying to catch up with the intense demand during Ramadan. As he learned from his father, 57-year-old Güvez, who has been cooking this dessert for 40 years, starts his work early for orders and continues until late.
Angel’s Hair, which is obtained by pouring the mixture prepared with flour and water into thin wires, sweetens the mouth after a long time of work. Hakan Güvez, who produces in a small shop in the historical covered bazaar, said that the highest demand is during the month of Ramadan, during the holidays and during the winter.
Güvez said that he produces about 50 kilos of kadayif per day, "There is a nice demand before the holiday. Dozens of easy and delicious desserts can be made with it. Those who are fond of taste prefer fresh desserts rather than ready-made ones."
