The Mayor of Meram, Mustafa Kavuş, visited the Meram Municipality Food Logistics Center, which stands out for its taste, quality, hygiene, and affordable pricing policy.
Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, who oversees the center that supplies products from 12 different facilities across the district under the slogan "Shared Kitchen, Shared Taste," emphasized that the center is the first officially licensed logistics center established in Konya. This center operates within the municipality-owned PELİTAŞ A.Ş.
Mayor Kavuş stated that the logistics center fulfills the roles of shared production, shared kitchen, and shared storage in the operations carried out by 12 separate businesses within Meram Municipality, collaborating under nine brands. He emphasized that the success of these businesses, which were established four years ago, is also supported by the efforts of this center.
Mayor Kavuş stated, "We are dedicated to protecting these facilities operating in the service sector and providing our guests with the best service in the city's finest establishments. For this purpose, products from the shared production center are distributed to our facilities through the food logistics center we have established, thus ensuring that the same taste, quality, and hygiene standards are maintained across all our facilities."
In his statement, Mayor Kavuş provided the following information about the logistics center: "All the products offered in our cafes and restaurants operated by our municipality-owned Pelitaş come from this center. This facility has obtained an operational approval certificate for food safety. A traceability record is maintained for every product produced, starting from the serial numbers to the end. Our products, which have passed taste tests and demonstrations, are dispatched to our facilities. There are 16 staff members working at the center. We collaborate with highly skilled and valuable experts. Our meat section is separate, and the pastry and hot meal sections are distinct as well. In addition to our inspections, we work closely with the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture, and we undergo their inspections as well."
