A Journey through Memories with Turkish Film Music in Konya

The Turkish Film Music Concert, organized in collaboration between Selçuklu Municipality Art Academy and Necmettin Erbakan University Turkish Music State Conservatory, was presented to the audience's liking.

The concert, held at the Selçuklu Congress Center, was attended by Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı, Necmettin Erbakan University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Birekul, as well as numerous representatives from public institutions and organizations, and art enthusiasts. Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Gönül, the Director of Necmettin Erbakan University Turkish Music State Conservatory, the performance of “Turkish Film Music,” which has found a place in people's hearts, provided an unforgettable evening for art lovers.

Mayor Pekyatırmacı emphasized the importance of Selçuklu Municipality being a pioneer not only in various fields but also in the arts. He stated, "We said that we would do this collaboration with Necmettin Erbakan University Turkish Music State Conservatory in the best possible way, and indeed, we have formed a beautiful partnership. In the Art Academy, thousands of our students and fellow citizens have come together with art, music, and theater. Productive work has been carried out in the field of personal development, and now we are starting to reap the fruits. I am confident that with the results we have achieved here, we have formed a team and organization that can perform not only locally but also on TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation)."

He expressed that Necmettin Erbakan University Turkish Music State Conservatory is one of the most prestigious conservatories in Turkey.
