Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Altay cast his vote.
Altay, who stated that elections in Turkey always take place with intense
participation and in the most democratic way, said, “I hope that the results will
be beneficial for our country.”
Uğur İbrahim Altay, the Mayor of Konya Metropolitan
Municipality, cast his vote at ballot box number 2294 for the Presidential and
28th Parliamentary General Elections. Altay, who stated that elections in
Turkey always take place with intense participation and in the most democratic
way, wished that the elections would be beneficial for Turkey.

After casting his vote at ballot box number 2294 at Meram
Özcan Saliha Çalıkuşu Primary School, Mayor Altay made a brief statement.
Drawing attention to the fact that elections in Turkey always take place with
intense participation and in the most democratic way, Mayor Altay said, “Since
this morning, there has been a high level of participation from our citizens. I
hope that the results will be beneficial for our country. We have also
fulfilled our civic duty by casting our vote. May God bless us with good
results. I urge citizens who have not yet voted to come to the ballot box until
5:00 pm and cast their vote. Let it be beneficial for our country.”
