After the announcement of the new cabinet, investigations
have begun to determine the identities of the new ministers. In the new
cabinet, there are 4 individuals who are originally from Konya. It is known
that Ali Yerlikaya, the Minister of Interior, and Fahrettin Koca, the Minister
of Health, are originally from Konya. Additionally, it has been revealed that
Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the Minister of Family and Social Services, and Ömer
Bolat, the Minister of Trade, are also originally from Konya.
Ali Yerlikaya was born on October 11, 1968, in Konya. He
completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Konya. In 1989, he
graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Political Sciences with a
degree in "Public Administration." In 1990, he began his career as a
candidate for district governor at the Ministry of Interior.
Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş was born on November 7, 1982, in
Schaerbeek, Brussels. She is a third-generation member of a Turkish immigrant
family with roots in Konya and Emirdağ. She obtained her bachelor's degree in
Human Resources Engineering from the Université libre de Bruxelles and pursued
a master's degree in Public Administration.
Dr. Fahrettin Koca was born on January 2, 1965, in Konya. He
completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and graduated
from Bursa Boys' High School. In 1988, he completed his studies at Istanbul
University Faculty of Medicine and obtained the title of medical doctor. He
specialized in the Department of Pediatrics at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa
Faculty of Medicine, and in 1995, he became a specialist in Pediatrics.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat was born on August 30, 1963, in
Istanbul as the child of parents originally from Konya. He completed his
primary, middle, and high school education in Istanbul. For his university
studies, he chose the Department of International Economic Relations at Marmara
University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
