The first program of the "Civil Society Meetings for the 100th Anniversary of the Republic: Konya" was held in Konya with the participation of protocol and civil society organization members.
Director of Provincial Civil Society Relations, Özgür Karayazılı, opening the speeches, stated, "We are here to review our efforts for the future of Turkey. We will evaluate our civil society activities. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who made it possible for this workshop to take place in Konya. I hope for a productive workshop."
Konya Governor Vahdettin Özkan, emphasizing the importance of the activities of civil society organizations, stated, "This program will be a nourishing force for our ancient city's civilizational spirit. It is everyone's duty to ensure the sustainability of the civil domain. The consolidation of the civil spirit leads to individuals becoming much stronger and reaching higher levels. Maintaining this tradition in our city becomes a source of wealth for us. It is even more crucial for civil society to stay within the civil domain. We are fortunate to be in a city where our youth are mobilized by civil societies to grow well. It is very important for directing them towards positive activities, keeping them away from negativity."
