Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya emphasized Konya’s municipal governance approach, stating that the city is managed with a vision that sets an example for both Turkey and the world.

Yerlikaya stated, "We are working to make Konya not only one of Turkey's but also one of the world's most beautiful cities," emphasizing the significant efforts of everyone involved, from mayors to organization members.
