Mayor Altay Elected to ILBANK Board Membership

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ugur Ibrahim Altay was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of ILBANK at the 2024 Annual General Assembly held in Ankara.

In a statement regarding the matter, Mayor Altay said that they will work with all their strength to contribute to the development of all 81 provinces, establish strong collaborations with local administrations, and find solutions to the needs of cities.

Emphasizing that they will carry out this duty with the same diligence as in all previous roles, Mayor Altay said, “I would like to thank, first and foremost, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, our metropolitan and provincial mayors, provincial council representatives, local administrators, and all delegates for entrusting me with this position, which will serve as a means to serve our nation.”
