Trade Minister Attends Konya Export Summit

Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat attended the Export Mobilization Summit held in Konya. Speaking at the summit held at the Stone Building, Minister Ömer Bolat stated that they have been performing well in both goods and services exports.

Speaking in Konya, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat stated that they will impose heavy penalties on manipulative efforts to raise prices in real estate and car sales, saying, “The advertising websites that publish them will be responsible for these penalties.”

Minister Bolat, mentioning that the recovery began in July, stated, "We didn't have a good start to the year because the global demand contraction, which started in the middle of last year worldwide, led to stagnation in global production. World trade also entered a decline phase with price reductions in many products. While global exports grew by 5% in 2022, it will remain at 0.8% this year. This is the estimated figure by the World Trade Organization. The world's growth rate was 3.5% last year, and this year it will average around 3%."
