Konya Metropolitan Municipality Organized Whirling Dervish Ceremony in TRNC

As part of its Ramadan events, Konya Metropolitan Municipality organized a Sufi music performance and a whirling dervish ceremony in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

The program, held at the Lefkoşa Mevlevi Lodge, was organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Foundations Administration, the International Development and Cooperation Association (UKİD), and the Yunus Emre Institute.

The program in Northern Cyprus attracted great interest, bringing together art enthusiasts with the spiritual melodies of Sufi music and the whirling dervish ceremony, both essential elements of the Mevlevi tradition. Offering a deeply spiritual atmosphere during the holy month of Ramadan, the event was highly appreciated by attendees.
