Mevlana's Commemoration Ceremonies Started with the 'Time of Friendship' March

The '749th Reunion Anniversary International Commemoration Ceremonies of Hazrat Mevlana', which are held every year on 7-17 December in Konya on the occasion of the anniversary of Hazrat Mevlana's death, started with a march themed 'Time of Friendship'

Starting with a visit to the Tomb of Shams-i Tabrizi commemoration Governor Vahdettin Özkan, Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay and Hz. Rumi's granddaughter from the 22nd generation Esin Çelebi Bayru, and many others participated.

After the visit to the tomb, starting in front of the governor's building walk, about 500 meters away from the Mevlana Museum until the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Fine Arts Konya It was held under the leadership of Turkish Sufi Music Ensemble.

In the square in front of the museum, the 'Nevba' ceremony (a special ceremony held with the participation of certain rhythm instruments and sounds in the tekkes) was held, then the Mevlana Museum was passed and the Gulbang prayer (prayer made with one voice) was read at the head of Mevlana's chest.

Esin Çelebi Bayru, a granddaughter from the 22nd generation, stated that she was happy that Hazrat Mevlana was commemorated and said, "Fortunately, this year we have reached this week, which is called 'Mevlana's week'. There will be various activities throughout the whole week. Hopefully, the halls will be full. Our teachers rest. Events really get to the right place. The fact that a descendant of man is so loved and still remembered after so many centuries gives a happiness. We strive to serve on this path. Hazrat Mevlana is a name that is really known abroad. A spiritual elder who is known and recognized more and more day by day, and the greatest feature is that he is read more."
