Sufi Cinema Festival Continues in Konya

The 6th Sufi Cinema Festival, organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality and brought to life with the support of the General Directorate of Cinema of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, continues with various events.

The festival, where Sufism is expressed through cinema, brings together film enthusiasts, directors, and young filmmakers in Konya.

Throughout the festival week, film screenings focusing on Sufi and spiritual themes, interviews with directors, screenwriters, and producers, as well as workshops, panels, and academic sessions are being held.

The Sufi Cinema Festival, which is gaining increasing international recognition, aims to make Turkey a hub for Sufi cinema and intellectual cinema, while strengthening the country's prestige in the arts and culture sector through cultural diplomacy.

Today, six different films were screened, and a panel was held at Depo No: 4, Taşbina, and Kültür Park during the festival.

In addition, the "Turkish Cinema and Equipment Accessories Used in Konya Cinema Exhibition" opened at Taşbina is being visited by those interested in cinema.
