Visitors Flock to Konya for Mevlana Commemoration

Konya is experiencing a surge of visitors this year, as it does every year, due to the 751st anniversary of Mevlana's Reunion International Commemoration Ceremonies.

Every year, from December 7 to 17, visitors from both domestic and international locations come to Konya to participate in the events commemorating Hazreti Mevlana.

Domestic and foreign tourists attending the ceremonies visit the Mevlana Museum and the historical mosques in the city during the day, and in the evening, they watch the Whirling Dervish ceremony held at the Mevlana Cultural Center.
