2nd International Konya Half Marathon Has Begun

The 2nd International Konya Half Marathon, which was organized in cooperation with Konya Metropolitan Municipality and Selçuklu Autism Individuals Education Foundation (SOBE), has begun with three different categories.

The event began with the 10-kilometer race and then the 21-kilometer half marathon at the race area set up in front of the Mevlana Cultural Center.

The opening races of the marathon, expected to have the participation of 15,000 people, were watched by athletes as well as Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, some members of parliament, and sports enthusiasts.

The entire revenue generated from the International Konya Half Marathon will be donated to SOBE.
