3 Significant Achievements from Karatay's Weightlifting Team

The Karatay Municipality Sports Club Weightlifting Team returned from the Youth A-B Inter-School Turkey Weightlifting Championship with three significant achievements.

From the club's weightlifting team, Ali Naim Gülcan won the competition in the 81-kilogram category, becoming the Turkish champion and earning the gold medal. 

Club athlete Yakup Ensar Anlaş also achieved the title of Turkish second in the 89-kilogram category, securing the silver medal. 

Another club athlete, Mehmet Can Doğan, managed to become the fourth-best in Turkey through his efforts.

Mayor Hasan Kılca of Karatay emphasized the significant achievements of the Karatay Municipality Sports Club in recent years. He congratulated the athletes, coaches, and club officials for the success of weightlifters from Karatay in Çanakkale.
