Athletes From Meram Belediyespor Ready for International Taekwondo Championships

Meram Belediyespor Club is gearing up to add new achievements to its success on the international stage. The club’s national athlete, Abdullah Dönmez, will represent Turkey in the European U21 Taekwondo Championship, while Saliha Küçüksolak will compete in the Balkan Taekwondo Championship.

Abdullah Dönmez, a 54-kilogram taekwondo athlete from Meram Belediyespor Club, will participate in the European U21 Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to take place in Bosnia and Herzegovina from November 20 to 23, 2024. As a member of the national team, Abdullah continues his preparations to represent Turkey in this prestigious event to the best of his ability.

Another national athlete from the club, Saliha Kücüksolak, will compete in the 24th Balkan Taekwondo Championship in Oradea, Romania, on November 28-29, 2024. She will fight in the 53 kg Women’s category, striving for the success of our national team.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş expressed his belief that both athletes will represent our country successfully in the international championships. He also stated that their support for sports and athletes will continue to grow.
