Double Success for Konya Metropolitan Sports Club in Taekwondo

Taekwondo athletes from Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club achieved significant success at the Turkish Minors Championship.

The Turkish Minors Taekwondo Championship, included in the activity program of the Turkish Taekwondo Federation, was held in Ankara with the participation of 5,500 athletes from 75 provinces.

In the thrilling tournament, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club’s successful athlete Yağmur Nas Aydoğdu outperformed her opponents in a category with 345 competitors.

Winning nine consecutive matches, Yağmur claimed the championship title and became the Turkish Champion for the second time in a row. Another athlete of the Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, Melek Su Dönmez, secured third place and earned a bronze medal.

With these achievements, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continues to make significant contributions to Turkish taekwondo in the minors category as well.
