Double Victory for Konya in Athletics Competitions

Athletes representing Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club achieved remarkable success in two separate athletics events held over the weekend.

The Orhan Altan Komple Athletics League Competition was held in Bursa on May 3–4.

In the thrilling competition, Seyhun Efe Bükmen from Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club claimed the championship title with an outstanding performance in the U20 Men’s Category.

Another proud achievement came from Yozgat. In the Anatolian Stars League Cross-Country Group Competitions, 14 athletes from the Metropolitan Municipality’s youth system won medals, marking a significant success.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continues to make steady progress toward becoming one of the strongest youth systems in Turkey, with its increasingly robust infrastructure.
