The cyclist from Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club
returned from the European Track Championship with a second-place finish.
Ramazan Yılmaz, the national cyclist from Konya Metropolitan
Municipality Sports Club, achieved a great success by becoming the European
runner-up in the Junior Men's Scratch category at the UEC U23 and Junior
European Track Championships held in Portugal. Yılmaz became the first athlete
to win a medal for Turkey in this category.
The cyclist representing our National Team from Konya
Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club achieved a European runner-up title and
won the silver medal in the final race. This young athlete, representing Konya,
became the first athlete to win a medal for Turkey in the Scratch category with
this accomplishment.
The success of Ramazan Yılmaz, who achieved second place in
Portugal, has also made history as the second medal in European Track
Championships after a gap of 12 years.
