Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor Judo Team athletes achieved historic success at the European Judo Cup held in Greece, with the participation of hundreds of judokas from 29 countries. In the final, teammates faced each other in a display of sportsmanship and camaraderie. Among the yellow-and-black judokas, Havva Sena Tokmak won the gold medal, while Fatma Zehra Meki secured the silver, making the nation proud.
Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor Judo Team achieved a rare success at the European Judo Cup. The European Judo Cup was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from November 22 to 24, with the participation of 439 athletes from 29 countries.
On the first day of the tournament, marked by intense and challenging matches, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor judokas Havva Sena Tokmak and Fatma Zehra Meki, competing in the 44 kg category, defeated all their opponents one by one to reach the final.
In the final, the two judokas from Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced each other in a display of camaraderie. Havva Sena Tokmak emerged victorious, claiming the gold medal, while Fatma Zehra Meki finished second, earning the silver medal. This rare achievement in judo brought great joy to our city and country.
