Karatay Belediyespor Tops Turkey Again

Karatay Belediyespor Club has become a source of pride for both Konya and Turkey with its outstanding performance in shooting.

In the Senior Men’s category, Karatay Belediyespor athletes achieved significant success by winning gold, silver, and bronze medals.

As a team, Karatay Belediyespor also delivered an outstanding performance and once again lifted the Team Turkey Championship trophy.

In the Shooting Skeet Victory Cup, Salahi Zaimoğlu claimed the Turkish Championship title in the Senior Men’s category, while Cemre Bumin secured second place and Kemal Madencioğlu finished third. In the same category, Salih Oday also ranked sixth in Turkey.

In the Senior Women’s category, Nur Banu Balkancı, who returned to sports after a long break, won the silver medal by finishing second in Turkey. In the Junior Men’s category, Muhittin Can Önür placed sixth nationwide.

As a team, Karatay Belediyespor’s shooting squad, consisting of Ahmet Baran, Salih Oday, and Salahi Zaimoğlu, delivered an exceptional performance, surpassing their rivals and once again becoming the champions of Turkey.
