Konya Basketball Team Advances to Federation Cup Final

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor secured a place in the final of the Turkish Men’s Federation Cup.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced one of its main league rivals, Gaziantep Basketbol, in the semifinals of the Turkish Men’s Federation Cup.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor opened the game strongly, finishing the first quarter with a 21–16 lead thanks to its effective play. Increasing the tempo in the second period, the team extended the margin into double figures and went into the locker room ahead 41–30.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor struggled to find its offensive rhythm in the third quarter and was unable to prevent its opponent from closing the gap, but still entered the final period holding a narrow 48–46 lead.

With strong performances from Alp Karahan, Oğulcan Baykan, and Chris Coffey in the final quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor regained control of the game, gave their opponent no chance, and left the court with a 70–59 victory.
