Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced Esenler Erokspor in the final of the Turkish Men’s Federation Cup. The team narrowly lost the match 69-66, finishing the tournament as runners-up.
The final match, held at the Basketball Development Center in Istanbul, saw intense competition right from the first whistle. The first quarter ended in a 16-16 tie, with neither team gaining an advantage over the other.
In the second quarter, the competition remained tight, just like the first. Konya's team was unable to block the opponent's shot in the final seconds, and they went into the locker room trailing 40-39.
In the third quarter, the yellow and black team scored 13 points, preventing the gap from widening and entering the final period with a hopeful 54-52 score. Both teams continued with controlled play in the fourth quarter, but Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor was defeated 69-66, finishing as the runner-up in the 2025 Turkish Men’s Federation Cup.
After the match, the teams were presented with their medals, and the athletes of Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor received the runner-up plaque from Prof. Bilge Donuk, a Board Member of the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF).
