Konya Basketball Team Keeps Winning Streak

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor continues its rise in the Turkish Basketball League.

In the 15th week of the TBL, Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced Pizzabulls Cedi Osman Basketbol away in Istanbul and gave no chance to their opponent, who was aiming to climb the upper ranks in the midweek matchup.

Putting on a dominant performance at Gazanfer Bilge Sports Hall, the yellow and black team finished the first quarter ahead 25–15. Büyükşehir Belediyespor did not allow the home side, who pushed hard to close the gap in the second quarter, any opportunity and went into the halftime break in front at 45–38.

Although Konya Büyükşehir scored fewer points than their opponent in the third quarter, they maintained a nine point lead and entered the final period ahead 71–63. Continuing to assert their dominance in the last quarter, the yellow and black side secured a 96–86 victory, claiming their 13th win of the season.

With this victory, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor raised its total to 28 points and finished the week in third place.
