The first step has been taken to make Beyşehir district of Konya, which hosts Turkey's largest freshwater lake, the center of water sports.
A contract has been signed for the preliminary feasibility project of the water sports center within the scope of eco-tourism, prepared by the Beyşehir Culture and Tourism Association in collaboration with the Mevlana Development Agency (MEVKA), under the code TR52/23/TD0021.

He mentioned that with the implementation of the project, they will initiate efforts for water sports for the first time in Konya under the framework of eco-tourism. He stated, "We have taken the first step towards establishing an educational center for sailing sports, particularly on Beyşehir Lake. Hopefully, there will be more to come. I thank MEVKA for their support in this regard. Let it be auspicious for our region."
