Konya Continues Unbeaten Streak with Fifth Straight Victory

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor maintained its undefeated streak with another strong performance. Playing in front of their home fans, the yellow-blacks secured an 85-74 victory over TED Ankara College.

The Week 5 fixtures of the Turkey Basketball League were played during the week.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor hosted TED Ankara College at the Selçuklu Municipality International Sports Hall.

Boosted by the confidence of their four-game unbeaten streak, the yellow-blacks continued their strong performance in Week 5, defeating their opponent 85-74 in front of their home crowd.

The first quarter ended with the visiting team leading 23-15. Regaining momentum in the second quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor entered the locker room with a 15-point advantage at 44-29. Responding effectively to their opponent’s shots in the third quarter, the yellow-blacks maintained a double-digit lead and headed into the final period ahead 62-51. Continuing their solid performance in the final quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor added another victory in front of their home fans.

With this result, Konya reached 10 points, finishing the week in second place and remaining in close pursuit of the league leader.
