Konya Handball Team Reaches Quarter-Finals

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor Handball Team has secured a spot in the quarter-finals of the HDI Insurance Men's Turkish Cup.

As the 2024-2025 season of the Handball Super League entered the mid-season break, the excitement of handball continued with the HDI Insurance Men's Turkish Cup elimination round matches.

The elimination round matches, with 6 teams competing in 2 groups, were held between December 27-29 in Konya and Rize. In Group A, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced Mihalıççık Belediyespor and Trabzon Büyükşehir Belediyespor at the Konya Sports and Congress Center. The yellow and blacks defeated Mihalıççık Belediyespor 39-31 and drew 31-31 with Trabzon, finishing at the top of their group on goal difference.
