The countdown has begun for the SOBE Autism Sports Games, which will be held for the first time in Turkey exclusively for individuals with autism, organized by the Selçuklu Foundation for Individuals with Autism Education (SOBE).
This special event, organized to increase the participation of individuals with autism in social life and raise societal awareness, will take place in Konya from July 10 to 13, 2025.
The SOBE Foundation, which has Turkey's most comprehensive autism center, aims to highlight the unifying power of sports and provide an inclusive platform where individuals with autism can showcase their talents.
The sports games, open to children and young people with autism from different age groups, will feature competitions in four disciplines: athletics, swimming, table tennis, and equestrianism.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Konya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, the Turkey Special Athletes Sports Federation, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the Selçuklu Municipality, and the SOBE Foundation, will not be limited to competitions alone. It will also be enriched with workshops, informational booths, and fun activities.
