Konya Ready for Türkiye Spain Match

Konya Metropolitan Municipality has completed all preparations ahead of the Turkish National Football Team’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers Group E match against Spain, which will take place on Sunday evening, September 7.

At Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium, where the Türkiye-Spain match will be held, all work has been carried out meticulously, from turf maintenance and membrane replacements to lighting systems and landscaping.

The people of Konya will be able to experience the excitement of the national match on three giant screens, one at Zindankale Multi-Storey Car Park and two at Kalehan Ecdad Garden.

In addition, on match day, sports activities will be organized and play areas will be set up around the stadium. Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that Konya is the home of the national team and expressed his heartfelt belief that the national team will also win the match against Spain. Mayor Altay wished the team success.
