Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club athletes made their mark at the Turkish Track Cycling Championship, hosted by Turkey’s first Olympic velodrome, the Konya Olympic Velodrome.
The Konya Olympic Velodrome, which hosted the UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup last March with the participation of over 300 athletes from 44 countries, has quickly become a hub for both national and international cycling competitions.
This time hosting the Turkish Track Cycling Championship, the Konya Olympic Velodrome offered cycling enthusiasts moments full of excitement.
In the championship, which also featured the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Cycling Team, the riders from the club received high praise from cycling authorities for their breathtaking performances.
Competing for the yellow-and-black team, the athletes crowned their success by winning a total of 17 medals, including 8 gold, 5 silver, and 4 bronze.
