Konya Takes Key Win in the League

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor has been delivering an impressive performance in the Turkish Basketball League this season, standing out both at home and away.

Representing Konya with strong performances in the league, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor visited Kocaeli’s Çayırova Belediyesi for the Week 10 matchup.

The game, played at Çayırova Sports Hall and carrying major importance for the race at the top, was a nail-biter from the opening whistle to the final moment.

Despite their opponent’s home-court advantage, the yellow-black team delivered a strong performance and closed the first quarter ahead 16–10. They maintained the same momentum in the second quarter as well, heading to the locker room with a 41–30 lead.

Although the home team scored more points in the third quarter, the visitors entered the final period leading 58–52. The fourth quarter was marked by intense competition, and with the game tied in the final three seconds, it was Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor that had the final word. The yellow-black team left the tough away match with a 72–70 victory, successfully overcoming another critical challenge without a setback.
