Konya Team Extends Winning Streak in Basketball League

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor, which made a strong start to the 2025–2026 season of the Turkey Basketball League, defeated Kocaeli’s basketball team in an away game.

In the 4th week of the league, the yellow-blacks faced Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıtspor and defeated their opponent 75–65.

With this result, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor extended its winning streak to four, reaching eight points and maintaining its pursuit of the top spot.

The first quarter ended with the home team leading 19–15, but Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor gained a 5-point advantage in the second quarter and went into halftime ahead 33–28.

The third quarter was marked by back-and-forth scoring, with the Kocaeli team entering the final period ahead 53–51. In the last quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor established clear dominance over its opponent and emerged victorious with a 75–65 win.

Riding high on their unbeaten streak, the yellow-blacks will host TED Ankara College in the 5th week of the league. The match will take place on Wednesday, October 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall.
