Konya Team Extends Winning Streak in Basketball League

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor, representing Konya in the Turkish Basketball League, continues its winning streak.

In the 9th week of the Turkish Basketball League, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor hosted Balıkesir Büyükşehir Belediyespor Basketball on its home court. Continuing its pursuit of the top spot with seven victories, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor put on a confident performance at the Selçuklu Municipality International Sports Hall. The first quarter ended with the home team leading 22–11.

In the second quarter, the yellow-and-black team further increased the tempo and went into the locker room with a 20-point lead at 43–23. Maintaining its dominance in the third quarter as well, Konya Metropolitan Belediyespor entered the final period ahead 64–32.

Although Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor scored fewer points than its opponent in the final quarter, it secured a 78–56 victory. With this result, the team achieved its eighth win and increased its total points to 17.
