Konya will be a Brand in Sports

Mehmet Baykan, General Manager of Sports Services, stated that “Konya received the most sports investment in the history of the Republic. In line with the instructions of our President, today our General Directorate has a work in every corner of Konya. Many investments continue to rise in every corner of the city for our young people to do sports. 

In a very short time, Konya will be awarded with the title of a sports center and sports city in addition to the perception of Agriculture, Tourism, Trade and Faith Center. We are trying to do our best with all interested people in Konya, especially our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay.

We will see very clearly what we mean, how we make investments and why they are necessary, during the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games that will start in Konya in September 2021. Konya will become an important brand in sports field.”
