Konya's Judo Team Finishes Third in National League

Konya’s judo team maintained its four-year streak of success by finishing third in the Youth Mixed 1st League this season. The team achieved 16 victories in 19 matches, continuing to rank among the top three for the past four seasons and upholding Turkey’s strong tradition in youth development.

The Spor Toto Youth Mixed 1st League judo competitions, held in Ankara on November 1–2, 2025, marked the end of the season. Competing among 20 clubs, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor finished the season in third place with 16 victories in 19 matches.

With this achievement, the team maintained its consistency by ranking among the top three for the fourth consecutive year. The yellow-and-black judokas finished second in the 2022 season and claimed undefeated championships in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

This result stood out as a reflection of the vision of “Turkey’s Strong Foundation.” Demonstrating remarkable consistency with its young athletes, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor added another promising performance to its record, strengthening hopes for the future of Turkish judo.
