Hasan Ulusan, a national athlete from Konya, became the
champion at the U23 Youth Muay Thai European Championships held in Ankara. The
17-year-old national athlete's new goal is to become a world champion.
Hasan Uluşan, who lives in Konya, continues to make a name
for himself with his achievements in Muay Thai sports. The 17-year-old athlete
from Meram Municipality Sports Club recently became the European champion with
the Turkish national team at the U23 Youth Muay Thai Championships held in
Ankara between March 21-28 by the EMF European Muay Thai Federation.
Hasan Uluşan, who competed against Russian, Greek, and
Italian opponents in the 63.5-kilogram category and won the championship,
expressed that becoming a European champion is a very nice feeling in a
tournament that had 500 athletes from 25 countries. He said, "Being on the
national team is a great pride. It is a very nice feeling to make my family and
my nation happy. I worked very hard for the championship. My coach Ziya Ak and
I worked hard together, and we got a reward for our efforts. I played against
my Italian opponent in the final, who has been competing in the World
Championships for 3 years, and I won that match and became the European
champion."
