Konya’s National Cyclist Targets Nations Cup Medal

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athlete and national cyclist Ramazan Yılmaz aims to win a medal at the UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup.

Starting cycling eight years ago and achieving significant success in a short time, the 20-year-old athlete has been competing in the elite category for the past two years, earning a spot on the UCI 2025 international teams list.

Training with the national team at the Konya Olympic Velodrome for about two weeks, Ramazan Yılmaz will compete in three different categories in the races.

Emphasizing that they will compete in the Nations Cup, one of the world's biggest events, the national athlete said, “As athletes from Konya, we will represent our country and our city here. Four cyclists from Konya will compete in the race. We would be very happy if our fellow citizens came to support us.”
