First League, started the season with a victory. The team, known as the Giant
Eagles, secured their first win by defeating Bornova Municipality Karşıyaka
93-90 in an away game.

Konyaspor Basketball, played their first match of the season as guests against
Bornova Municipality Karşıyaka.
The match, which took place at Izmir Altındağ Atatürk Sports
Complex and was particularly intense in the final quarter, ended with the Giant
Eagles winning 93-90.
The green and white team finished the first quarter with a
strong performance, leading 29-18.
Konyaspor continued their effective play in the second
quarter and went into halftime with a score of 49-40, maintaining their lead.
The second half witnessed a tightly contested battle.
Despite falling behind during the match, the green and white team entered the
final period with a lead of 78-60.
The Giant Eagles occasionally fell behind in the final
period. However, the students of head coach Emrah Benli, who didn't give up on
the match, emerged victorious with a score of 93-90 when the final buzzer
sounded.
In Konyaspor, which started the season with a victory,
Marlon Johnson was the standout player of the match with 14 points, 10
rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block.
Myles Mack contributed 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists,
while Batuhan Acar made critical plays with 18 points, 8 rebounds, and 2
assists. Merthan Mutlu added 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, and captain
Ugur Can Aksoy chipped in with 12 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, making
them the key contributors to the victory.
