Konyaspor Opens Turkish Cup with a Win

Konyaspor hosted Antalyaspor in the first match of Group B of the Turkish Cup.

Konyaspor secured a 1–0 victory in the match played at the MEDAŞ Konya Metropolitan Stadium.

Head coach Çağdaş Atan started the match with Deniz Ertaş, Yhoan Andzouana, Utku, Uğurcan Yazğılı (replaced by Yasir Subaşı in the 75th minute), Guilherme Sitya, Jin Ho Jo (replaced by Enis Bardhi in the 63rd minute), Tunahan Taşçı (replaced by M. Stefanescu in the 87th minute), Melih İbrahimoğlu (replaced by Kaan Akyazı in the 87th minute), Morten Bjorlo, Jackson Muleka (replaced by Marko Jevtović in the 75th minute), and Umut Nayir in the starting eleven.

Konyaspor went into halftime with a 1–0 lead after Tunahan Taşçı scored in the 21st minute.

The score remained unchanged for the rest of the match, and Konyaspor opened the group stage of the Turkish Cup with a three-point victory.
