Meram Belediyespor kickboxers made a strong impact at the Turkey Kickboxing Championship in Antalya, winning seven medals.
In recent years, athletes from Konya have been making a name for themselves with their achievements in Turkey and around the world. In this context, Meram Belediyespor, the sports team of Meram Municipality, continued its success in kickboxing, putting on a remarkable performance at the Turkey Kickboxing Championship in Antalya, winning multiple medals.
The athletes achieved another significant success, returning from the championship with four titles, two second-place finishes, and one third-place finish.
Meram Belediyespor won a total of seven medals at the Seniors and Juniors Turkey Kickboxing Championship, part of the 2025 activity program of the Turkish Kickboxing Federation.
At the championship held at Antalya Sports Hall from January 21 to 28, 2025, Meram Belediyespor athletes delivered outstanding performances. Sabriye Gür claimed the title in the Seniors 70 kg category, while Abdullah Emir Beserek (Juniors 75 kg), Kazım Mert Dereli (Juniors 91 kg), and Murat Hidayet Şen (Juniors 81 kg) also secured championship victories. Nuran Nisanur Demirok (Juniors 56 kg) and Mehmet Ali Dereli (Juniors 67 kg) finished as runners-up, while Ayşe Ebrar Aygün took third place in the Seniors 56 kg category, earning a bronze medal.
