Meram Belediyespor Triumphs in Italy Kickboxing Championship

Meram Belediyespor’s national athletes achieved another great success at the WAKO European Youth Kickboxing Championship held in Jesolo, Italy.

Emircan Abdullah Beserek, competing in the 75-kilogram category, became European Champion by surpassing his opponents, while Kazım Mert Dereli, who entered the ring in the 91-kilogram category, achieved second place in Europe.

The Turkish team made a mark on the championship by winning a total of 50 medals, including 9 gold, 16 silver, and 25 bronze. The two young athletes trained by Meram Belediyespor became a source of pride for both Turkey and Konya.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş congratulated the athletes, coaches, and club officials.
