Meram's Kickboxers Shine at World Cup

Meram Belediyespor kickboxers achieved another great success at the 10th International Kickboxing World Cup held in Antalya.

The 10th International Kickboxing World Cup, held at Antalya Sports Hall between May 14-18, 2025, as part of the 2025 activity program of the Turkey Kickboxing Federation, was completed with great enthusiasm and excitement.

In this major event, which saw the participation of 3,500 athletes from 41 countries, the Meram Municipality Kickboxing Team successfully represented our country and Konya, achieving another significant accomplishment.

The Meram Municipality athletes who ranked and their categories are as follows: Sabriye Gür – 70 kg: Gold Medal, E. Abdullah Beserek – 75 kg: Gold Medal, Mehmet Ali Dereli – 67 kg: Gold Medal, Ebrar Aygün – 56 kg: Bronze Medal.

Mustafa Kavuş, Mayor of Meram Municipality, stated that this great success achieved by the athletes once again demonstrates how timely and effective Meram Municipality’s investments in youth and sports have been.
