National Athlete Wins One Gold and Two Silvers at World Championship

Furkan Osman Sayıner, a national athlete from Selçuklu Belediyespor, achieved a historic success at the Wushu Kung Fu World Championship held in China, winning one world championship title and two silver medals.

The national athlete won one world title and two silver medals at the championship held in Emeishan, China, between October 14 and 20, 2025.

Furkan Osman Sayıner impressed the audience with his technical performance, balance, and discipline, and won medals in all three categories at his first World Championship.

The Wushu Kung-Fu National Team, including Furkan Osman Sayıner, defeated their rivals in the team competitions with a score of 9.08 and became world champions. Their strong performances at the event in China highlighted the rising presence of Turkish sports on the international stage.
