National Match Watched on Big Screen in Konya!

Thousands of citizens in Konya watched the 2024 European Football Championship match between Turkey and the Czech Republic on a giant screen set up at Selcuklu Viewing Terrace.

The Selçuklu Municipality joined in the national excitement by broadcasting the match between the National Football Team and the Czech Republic on a giant screen set up at Selçuklu Viewing Terrace.

The national team advanced to the last 16 by defeating the Czech Republic 2-1. The national team took the lead with a goal by Hakan Çalhanoğlu in the 51st minute. The Czech Republic equalized in the 67th minute with a goal from Soucek. Cenk Tosun scored in the 90+4th minute, securing the victory for the Turkish team.

Thousands of citizens came to Selcuklu Viewing Terrace with flags and national jerseys to watch the match and supported the national team with cheers throughout the 90 minutes.

Selcuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı also shared the excitement of the national match with the people of Konya. During halftime, Mayor Pekyatırmacı chatted with the citizens who came to the venue.
