Para Taekwondo Turkey Championship Begins in Konya

The Turkish Para Taekwondo Championship has started at the Konya Selçuklu International Sports and Congress Center.

In the championship, which will continue throughout the day and where physically disabled para taekwondo athletes compete, athletes who achieve success will earn the right to join the national team.

Turkey Taekwondo Federation President Prof. Dr. Metin Şahin expressed confidence in their prospects for the Paris Olympics, stating, "It's a branch where we have been champions as a team multiple times and have been European Champions. As a federation, we are making serious efforts to promote it in Turkey."
